GENERAL PRODUCTS WARRANTY

  • XS Scuba warrants to the original owner that all of its products are free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years with proof of purchase.
  • This warranty does not apply to non-XS Scuba branded products like Worthington, Luxfer, Miflex, etc.  Contact us with any warranty issues for assistance.
  • XS Scuba will repair or replace a warranty product and must be returned to us freight prepaid. 
    XS Scuba reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or greater value when exact product is not available.  At our option, XS Scuba will either replace, substitute, or repair the item.
  • Warranty applies only under normal sport and skin diving use and with proper care and maintenance.  Warranty does not apply to products used for commercial, educational, or military purposes.  Warranty does not apply to products used for rental purposes.

REGULATORS 

All warranty claims or transactions must be accompanied by proof of original purchase from an Authorized XS Scuba Dealer. Be sure to save your sales receipt along with proof of prior annual service, and present it whenever returning your regulator for warranty service. This warranty originates at the date of consumer purchase from an authorized XS Scuba retailer. The warranty is limited and subject to the restrictions set forth.

Limited Lifetime Warranty
XS Scuba regulators (SeaAir, Spirit and Brawn) are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own the regulator. Warranty applies only under normal sport and skin diving use and with proper care and maintenance. This warranty is non-transferable and limited to repair or replacement at the discretion of XS Scuba. Regulator must be returned with proof of purchase. 

What Is Covered 
Most parts of your XS Scuba regulator are covered under this warranty. Should any part of your XS Scuba regulator be found defective, XS Scuba, at its discretion, will repair or replace the component at no charge to you. 

What Is Not Covered 
Inspection, service, and/or labor charges will be paid for by the regulator owner. Some regulator parts are subject to wear under normal or minimal use. O-rings, high pressure seats, low pressure seats, filters, diaphragms, exhaust valves, tie wraps, mouthpieces, and hoses should be inspected for excessive wear on a regular basis. Replacement of these items constitutes normal maintenance, and is the responsibility of the owner. This warranty does not cover damage to the product resulting from the introduction of rust or other contaminants from the air supply, improper usage, improper maintenance, neglect of care, alteration or unauthorized repair. This warranty will automatically become void if proper preventative maintenance procedures have not been followed as outlined in this manual. All repairs made, not covered under the terms of this warranty will be made at the owner's expense. 

What You Need To Do 
1. Keep a copy of the original purchase receipt and subsequent inspections in a file. 
2. Your XS Scuba Regulator should be inspected and serviced by an authorized XS Scuba repair facility at least once a year. 
3. Provide proof of original purchase and any servicing by an Authorized XS Scuba Dealer in the form of receipts/invoices. Warranty does not apply to products used for commercial, educational, or military purposes. Warranty does not apply to products used for rental purposes. Disclaimers / Exclusions 
This warranty is nontransferable form the original owner. No salesperson, dealer, or representative is authorized to make any modification to this warranty. USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT BY A PERSON WHO IS NOT CERTIFIED BY A RECOGNIZED AGENCY SHALL RENDER NULL AND VOID ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. 
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties so this may not apply to you. 
XS SCUBA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE IN ANY MANNER FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT COSTS, EXPENSES, OR DAMAGES INCURRED WITH THE USE OF THE XS SCUBA REGULATOR. 

Some states do not allow this exclusion so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have rights, which vary from state to state.

BUOYANCY COMPENSATORS

Limited Two Year Warranty
XS Scuba warrants to the original owner, this product to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of two years from date of original purchase. Warranty applies only under normal sport and skin diving use and with proper care and maintenance. This warranty is non-transferable and limited to repair or replacement at the discretion of XS Scuba. BC must be returned with proof of purchase.

What Is Covered
All non-wearing valve parts and the welded seams of the BC air cell are covered under this warranty. Should any part of your XS Scuba BC be found defective, XS Scuba, at its discretion, will repair or replace the component at no charge to you.

What Is Not Covered 
1. This warranty does not extend to abrasion, punctures, or tears of the air cell, or seam separation caused by chemical attack; including, but not limited to prolonged exposure to chlorine or other pool chemicals. 
2. This warranty does not extend to damages caused by improper use, improper maintenance, neglect, unauthorized repairs, modifications, accidents, fire, or casualty. 
3. Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, fraying, and nicks are not covered by this warranty. 
4. This warranty does not extend to equipment used for rental, commercial, educational, or military purposes.
